La influenza aviar: tema central al inaugurarse la 38° Convención Anual de Aneca

Durante la inauguración de la XXXVIII Convención Anual de la Asociación Nacional de Especialistas en Ciencias Avícolas de México, se habló del tema del desafío actual que atañe a la avicultura nacional: la influenza aviar.

Como dijo el Director General de Salud Animal de Senasica, Dr. Joaquín Delgadillo, “sin sanidad no hay producción”, por lo que, junto al dinamismo de los avicultores, Senasica atiende esta contingencia. Por otro lado, el Lic. Jorge García de la Cadena, nuevo presidente de la Unión Nacional de Avicultores, dijo que sin la alianza de los especialistas en aves, de los productores y el gobierno federal, “esto no camina”. Es una obligación social para México seguir produciendo alimentos. “Tenemos que dejar a un lado los rumores y ponernos a trabajar, la Una y el gobierno”. El Lic. García dijo que “sin los técnicos avícolas, la avicultura no estaría donde está ahora”, por lo que pidió su cooperación para seguir privilegiando a la industria.

Esta convención de Aneca, caracterizada por una nutrida concurrencia y una gran participación de la industria en la exposición comercial, puede representar un punto de inflexión hacia una solución, con la participación de los técnicos avícolas del país.
