La pododermatitis es una afección de las patas y articulaciones de las aves que se presenta en la producción y crianza que debe controlarse desde el principio, ya que ocasiona cojera. Las aves afectadas no pueden desplazarse a comederos y bebederos. A.M.X. 60% Premix es una premezcla antibiótica formulada a base de amoxicilina trihidratada sometida a un proceso especial que la blinda , el cual protege la molécula de las inclemencias del medio ambiente, del manejo, peletización y almacenamiento. Una vez consumido, resiste el pH, por lo que llega el 100% de la molécula al intestino delgado y la acción enzimática libera el producto. Se recomienda una dosis de 666 g (400 ppm) por tonelada de alimento durante 5-7 días. No debe utilizarse la carne de aves tratada para consumo humano hasta 7 días después del último tratamiento.
