El sistema de manejo de aves vivas Marel Stork ATLAS brinda una alta atención al bienestar animal, al tiempo que se mejora la eficiencia. Incluye el módulo SmartStack, que consiste de un pallet de carga con un número variable de bandejas sin marco (generalmente tres o cuatro) por encima. El diseño del módulo mejora la capacidad de carga en un 38 por ciento, lo que significa menos movimientos de camión y por lo tanto, menos emisiones de dióxido de carbono.

Como usa la misma superficie del suelo, SmartStack brinda más espacio a cada ave.
