Hay muchas historias en la avicultura latinoamericana, pero pocas empiezan con una suscripción a esta revista, Industria Avícola. Nos cuenta doña Violeta Ceuppens, directora de Granja Avícola La Blanca, S. A. de Capiatá, Paraguay que su padre, don Daniel A. Ceuppens le regaló allá por la década de 1960 a su madre, doña Blanca Talavera, una suscripción a la revista Industria Avícola, de WATT. Doña Blanca estaba feliz, pues se iniciaban en el negocio de la avicultura, aunque Violeta nos explica una curiosidad: su madre después se dio cuenta que la suscripción era gratis.
