Perú: Seminario sobre Realidades y Perspectivas de los DDGS

Este seminario se realizó con el auspicio de la Asociación Peruana de Avicultura y del U.S. Grains Council, siendo una oportunidad para evaluar el uso de los DDGS por consumidores y comercializadores.

Este encuentro se llevo a cabo en las instalaciones de la Asociación Peruana de Avicultura contando con la participación de destacados especialistas a nivel internacional como el Sr. Diego González, Consultor en nutrición y producción animal para la firma CONUPRA S.A. de Costa Rica, y el Sr. Kurt Shultz, Director Regional Latinoamérica de U.S. Grains Council regional con sede en Panamá.

Esta fue una actualización del tema que contó con el apoyo de la vasta experiencia de ambos expertos que presentaron a todos los asistentes, integrantes de la cadena productiva avícola, porcícola y ganadera, los últimos resultados del uso del DDGS en la dieta pecuaria, además de brindarles información sobre el procedimiento de importación, almacenamiento, adecuada distribución, precios, entre otros temas importantes.

El seminario fue una oportunidad para promover la evaluación conjunta, entre consumidores y comercializadores, del uso de los DDGS en Perú.

Se destaca que el U.S. Grains Council es una entidad privada, sin fines de lucro, conformada por entes de agro-negocios y productores comprometidos en construir y expandir mercados internacionales para maíz, cebada y sorgo de Estados Unidos y sus co-productos.
