Presidente de Ubabef insta a la ayuda del gobierno

Las exportaciones brasileñas de carne de pollo fueron de 305,700 toneladas en septiembre, un 0.4 por ciento mayor en comparación con el mismo período del año pasado, según la Unión Brasileña de Avicultura, Ubabef. Los ingresos cayeron un 3.4 por ciento en el mismo período, a un total de US$632.7 millones.

De enero a finales de septiembre, las exportaciones crecieron un 0.9 por ciento en volumen, en comparación con los primeros nueve meses del año anterior, para llegar a los 2.922 millones de toneladas. Los ingresos cayeron un 6.9 por ciento, por un total de US$5.616 mil millones en el mismo período.

Ubabef presidente Francisco Turra dijo que ha sido fundamental mantener el ritmo de los volúmenes de carne de pollo comercializado en el país para la supervivencia de la industria avícola, mientras que se enfrenta a los altos precios del maíz y la soja.

Turra dijo que es crítico para el gobierno mantener sus esfuerzos e inversiones en la estructura de defensa agrícola para que el país se aferre a su liderazgo en las exportaciones avícolas internacionales.
