Esto, debido a las medidas antidumping aplicadas a las exportaciones brasileñas de aves enteras

El Consejo de Ministros de la Cámara de Comercio Exterior, Camex, autorizó al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Brasil a iniciar la fase de consultas formales a Sudáfrica por las medidas antidumping aplicadas a las exportaciones de aves enteras brasileñas y cortes deshuesados ante la Organización Mundial de Comercio a solicitud de União Brasileira de Avicultores, Ubabef.

Según esta última, esto ha ocasionado pérdidas por US$70 millones al año, por lo que alertó al gobierno sudafricano de posibles violaciones al Acuerdo Antidumping de la OMC.
