El presidente de Fenavi describe las importaciones como ‘amenazas’

Antes de la apertura del 16º Congreso Nacional Avícola en Cali, Colombia, el Dr. Andrés Moncada, presidente de Fenavi, ve al Tratado de Libre Comercio con los EUA con preocupación. Dijo que las importaciones de pollo siempre serán vistas como amenazas por parte de los productores nacionales.

Serán 6,760 toneladas de partes traseras de los EUA las que llegarán y serán subastadas el jueves y viernes sin pagar arancel. Sin embargo, Fenavi desarrolló una campaña en el Festival de Pollo en agosto y septiembre de este año, cuando se posicionó ‘el sello de pollo fresco y al natural’.

El Dr. Moncada dijo que se “concentra en los principales atributos de nuestro producto que nunca podrá ser igual al extranjero”.
