OK Foods está bajo un nuevo liderazgo, pues se ha informado que Trent Goins va a sustituir a Paul Fox como CEO de la compañía. Goins fue promovido al puesto de CEO de OK Foods, en donde antes era vicepresidente de ventas y comercialización.

Donna Miller de OK Foods confirmó en una llamada telefónica con The City Wire que Fox renunció a la compañía, aunque no quiso dar más informes.

Fox estuvo con OK Foods desde enero de 2012, además de que antes trabajó durante nueve meses como director ejecutivo de Marfrig. También ha sido presidente y CEO de Dickinson Frozen Foods durante unos cuatro años y estuvo en Tyson Foods durante 17 años en el puesto de la vicepresidencia nacional e internacional.

Goins, el nuevo CEO of OK Foods, comenzó su carrera en la compañía haciendo prácticas de gerencia en enero 2003 antes de convertirse en gerente de ventas regional en enero de 2005, puesto que mantuvo durante cuatro años. Durante esta época, estuvo en la mesa directiva de National Chicken Council y The Poultry Federation. Goins actualmente es miembro del Comité Ejecutivo del National Chicken Council. Antes de entrar a OK Foods, Goins fue asistente legislativo de políticas agrícolas y comerciales la oficina de la ex diputada Marion Berry.

OK Foods, con sede en Fort Smith, Ark., fue fundada en la década de 1930 como fabricante de alimentos balanceados, pero finalmente entró al negocio de procesamiento avícola en la década del 50. OK Foods fue comprada por la empresa avícola mexicana Bachoco en 2011.
