Firma argentina asegura haber desarrollado un producto basado en esta tecnología, que sustituiría los actuales promotores de crecimiento en el negocio avícola.

La empresa rosarina Nano Soluciones anunció que logró “desarrollar un promotor de crecimiento para aves basado en nanopartículas de cobre”, el cual, “además de adaptarse a las nuevas legislaciones, asegura un rendimiento adicional del 14 por ciento y menos costos frente a la posible competencia (como aceites esenciales y ácidos orgánicos)”.

Así lo relató a Agrofy el líder de la firma tecnológica, Claudio Taglialegne, quien destacó además la capacidad del nuevo producto para “combatir la resistencia bacteriana producida por el uso de antibióticos en animales”.

Taglialegne expresó que el testeo del producto para aves lo realizaron a principios de este año en una granja avícola de la zona, en la localidad de Capitán Bermúdez, utilizando una muestra de 100 animales: “En 60 aplicamos nuestro desarrollo sin antibióticos y obtuvimos un incremento de peso adicional del 14 por ciento, con una dosis promedio de 3 miligramos por día, lo cual es bajísimo, y sin efecto en los tejidos de los animales”.

La investigación —que se dio en el marco de una alianza con la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario— cobra vital relevancia por una disposición del Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (Senasa), que fija para enero de 2019 el fin de los alimentos para animales con antibióticos, antiparasitarios o coccidiostáticos. Lo que se hace es seguir una tendencia iniciada hace más de una década por la Unión Europea, imitada por Estados Unidos en el 2014.

Según los considerandos de la Resolución 594/2015 del organismo nacional, estos cambios se orientan a “asegurar y mejorar las condiciones de inocuidad de los alimentos” en un contexto de constantes avances en materia de procesos productivos y a los fines de cuidar la salud humana frente a posibles “sustancias indeseables”.
