La enfermedad del COVID-19 está causando cancelaciones y reprogramaciones de eventos en todo el mundo. Aquí los mantendremos informados, actualizando constantemente los eventos avícolas que se reprogramen.

Debido a las circunstancias del informe #39 de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) publicado el 28 de febrero de 2020, en el que la evaluación de riesgo, tanto a nivel regional como global, cambió de alto a muy alto por el COVID-19, los eventos multitudinarios, tales como congresos y ferias comerciales, se han visto forzados a cancelar o cambiar de fechas, en beneficio de los asistentes.

Benjamín Ruiz es el editor en jefe de la revista especializada Industria Avícola. Es un especialista en nutrición, alimentos balanceados, producción animal y avicultura con más de 20 años de experiencia en la industria. También es traductor (del inglés y portugués al español) enfocado en temas pecuarios, farmacéuticos y médicos.

Ruiz posee una licenciatura en Nutrición y Ciencia de los Alimentos de la Universidad Iberoamericana en México, DF, y una maestría en Nutrición y Producción Animal de Cornell University (Ithaca, NY, EE.UU.). También posee un diplonado en Traducción Inglés-Español de la Universidad Iberoamericana y un diplomado en Terminología de El Colegio de México.
