El precio del pollo peruano tiende a la estabilidad

Los avicultores peruanos indican que a pesar del alza que ha existido en el precio de la carne de pollo en las últimas semanas, éste se está regularizando por la oferta y la demanda.

De acuerdo al presidente de la Asociación Peruana de Avicultura, Sr. Pedro Mitma, manifestó que el incremento en el precio del pollo registrado en los últimos días es una consecuencia de la oferta y la demanda, señalando que no hay que inquietarse porque el mercado se regulará esta situación.

Además, explicó que “Si es que baja la demanda, simplemente habrá que adecuar el precio, así que no hay nada de qué preocuparse”.

Al respecto, los primeros días de julio, el precio del pollo al público se ubicó en US$2.90, mientras que la semana pasada cayó en US$0.40. En los centros de acopio el precio se situó en US$1.80.

Sin embargo, hoy en día la demanda continúa en alza, debido al alto costo de los precios de otros productos, como la carne de res y de cerdo, por cual la carne de ave se hace más apreciada.
