Durante la IPE 2012 se realizó la Asamblea y la reunión de la Junta Directiva donde se debatieron los planes de acción para la Asociación Latinoamericana de Avicultura para este año.

En la Exposición Avícola Internacional de Atlanta, IPE 2012, se realizo como es habitual cada año la Asamblea y la reunión de la Junta Directiva de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Avicultura.

Durante las reuniones, fueron debatidos planes de acción para la Asociación Latinoamericana de Avicultura en 2012. Entre las iniciativas previstas está la realización de eventos técnicos para los temas específicos más relevantes que atañen al sector, especialmente para enfermedades como la salmonelosis, laringotraqueitis, influenza aviar, enfermedad de Newcastle y otros.

El programa abordó también otros asuntos, incluyendo las oportunidades de negocio que surgen en el mercado internacional para los países productores y exportadores de Latinoamérica.

Una de las reuniones de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Avicultura contó con una conferencia del consultor estadounidense Paul Aho, quien presentó el perfil competitivo y la confiabilidad de los grandes mercados en la industria avícola brasileña como un factor determinante para un crecimiento más acelerado en relación a la producción avícola de EUA.
