El aumento de la dosis dada a los animales mejora los efectos extrafosfóricos

AB Vista presenta una nueva forma de manejar la fitasa para los animales, especialmente en aves y cerdos. Se trata de la superdosificación de la enzima, llamada Superdosing – SD.

La superdosificación es la adición de la fitasa Quantum Blue en cantidad suficiente para destruir prácticamente todo el fitato presente en la dieta y de manera muy rápida, ya que Quantum Blue es una fitasa muy hábil en la destrucción de este compuesto. Como el fitato es un antinutriente, la superdosificación proporcionará ganancias adicionales en el desempeño de las aves, que va más allá de la simple liberación del fósforo y calcio, comparado con la utilización de dosis convencionales de la enzima. Con esta estrategia, el enfoque principal sería la reducción del costo de producción de los animales mediante la mejora del desempeño, no enfocando la fitasa única y exclusivamente como fuente de fósforo.

En los últimos años, ha habido una mayor comprensión de los efectos antinutricionales del fitato y su reflejo en la utilización de nutrientes por los animales. Este mejor conocimiento ha llevado a una serie de nuevas investigaciones con el objetivo de dilucidar los beneficios de la eliminación del fitato de las dietas con el uso de la superdosis de fitasa, sobre los parámetros de desempeño de las aves. La cantidad de enzima necesaria para obtener este efecto naturalmente va a variar, en función de la capacidad de degradar el fitato del producto específico.

Una superdosis de fitasa de E. coli demuestra un beneficio bastante interesante, ya que mejora la fisiología digestiva de los animales y en consecuencia la digestibilidad de los nutrientes, lo que mejora el desempeño de los animales, todo eso a través de la reducción de las reacciones fisiológicas ocasionadas por el efecto antinutricional del fitato en el organismo, que acaba por perjudicar la digestibilidad de los nutrientes.
