Perú: Alza en el precio del pollo de hasta 25%

La Asociación Peruana de Avicultura prevé que los precios de la carne de ave se normalizaran durante esta semana.

El precio de la carne de ave se ha incrementado en Perú, los comerciantes minoristas peruanos indicaron que este aumento se ha producido de manera progresiva, durante la semana pasada.

La última semana, los precios han pasado de US$2.30 a US$2.41 para luego llegar a US$2.48 y US$2.65. En algunos puestos de los centros de abasto alcanzó los US$2.83.

Para los centros de acopio a mayoristas, la razón de esta alza es que se están exportando mayor número de aves.

Con respecto al tema, el Sr. Pedro Mitma, presidente de la Asociación Peruana de Avicultura, indicó que puede ser que los vendedores hayan comprado, lo que no han estimado que se iba a vender en Semana Santa, por eso hay poca oferta.
