Recibe Avimex Premio ADIAT a la Innovación Tecnológica 2012

Es uno de los galardones más preciados que puede recibir una empresa en México por el desarrollo de productos innovadores.

El pasado 22 de marzo, la Asociación Mexicana de Directivos de la Investigación Aplicada y el Desarrollo Tecnológico, ADIAT, durante el congreso que celebraron en Monterrey, NL, México, otorgaron el Premio ADIAT a la Innovación Tecnológica 2012 en la categoría de Empresas Grandes a Laboratorios Avimex, por haber obtenido el primer lugar por el desarrollo de una vacuna recombinante de influenza aviar subtipo H5 en vector Newcastle.

El premio, que consiste en una estatua de bronce y un diploma, fue entregada por el Gobernador del Estado de Nuevo León, Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz. Este reconocimiento se dio durante el Congreso de la Asociación, al que asistieron unas 500 personas de universidades y centros de investigación del país, así como del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología, Conacyt.

Cabe destacar que esta asociación aglomera a todos los sectores de investigación y desarrollo tecnológico del país. Además, el primer lugar otorgado a Avimex en la categoría de empresas grandes es significativo, ya que compitió con empresas multinacionales mexicanas de otros sectores como Mabe, Cemex y Bimbo, ampliamente conocidas en Latinoamérica.
