Durante el más reciente informe de rendición pública de cuentas presentado por el gobierno central de la República Oriental del Uruguay, se conocieron algunas novedades referidas al agro charrúa que liderará próximamente el Ministerio de Ganadería, Agricultura y Pesca (MGAP).
De igual manera, para agilizar la gestión sanitaria general del ministerio, sobre todo en casos de atención a episodios como brotes o emergencias, “en otro artículo, el 133, se faculta al MGAP disponer el traslado transitorio de los funcionarios de la Inspección Veterinaria Permanente de la División Industria Animal, a efectos del cumplimiento de sus tareas inspectivas, dentro o fuera del departamento donde desempeñan su trabajo habitual y fuera del lugar de residencia declarado, por resolución fundada en estrictas necesidades del servicio, disponiéndose además de medidas para que se cubran los gastos correspondientes (locomoción, alimentación y viáticos)”.
