El Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA) publicó recientemente un actualizado balance sobre el avance de la epidemia de peste porcina africana (PPA) en el Viejo Continente, destacando que en la primera quincena de septiembre se habían registrado ante la Organización Mundial de Sanidad Animal (OIE) 344 casos en distintos países, principalmente europeos, por cerdos y jabalíes silvestres.
