Cuatro productores del país andino cuentan ya con autorización sanitaria

Las plantas de las firmas colombianas productoras de pollo Acondesa, Vencedor, Idecampo y Bucanero fueron certificadas por el Servicio Federal de Vigilancia Veterinaria y Fitosanitaria de Rusia (Rosselkhoznadzor) para exportar sus productos a la unión aduanera que conforman Rusia, Bielorrusia y Kazajistán, antiguos países integrantes de la extinta Unión de Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas (URSS).

Así lo dio a conocer María Claudia Lacouture, presidenta de Proexport, entidad encargada de promover el turismo y las exportaciones no tradicionales en esta nación suramericana, al asegurar que “esta certificación es el resultado de cuatro años de trabajo conjunto con los empresarios avicultores, el Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA), el Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos (Invima) y la Embajada de Colombia en Rusia”.

Con esta certificación se abre un mercado potencial de 168 millones de personas para estos cuatro productores colombianos de pollo, mercado que en el último año registró un significativo repunte en la importación de carne y despojos comestibles de aves frescos o refrigerados. En 2012, Rusia compró en el exterior 846 millones de dólares por este concepto, 253 millones de dólares más que en 2011. Por su parte, Kazajistán importó 212.4 millones de dólares, lo cual representó un incremento del 16.8 por ciento.
