El 2018 fue “el año más difícil” en la historia de BRF por los desafíos comerciales, presión de costos, problemas de logística e investigaciones que enfrentó la empresa cárnica brasileña, dijeron ejecutivos.
En lo que catalogaron como “el año más desafiante en los 10 años de historia de BRF”, ejecutivos de la empresa cárnica brasileña informaron una pérdida neta de BRL4,470 millones (US$1,200 millones) para el año fiscal 2018. Solo en el cuarto trimestre del año fiscal 2018, las pérdidas netas de la compañía alcanzaron los BRL2,130 millones (US$567.7 millones).
