Posibilidades de exportación para la carne porcina brasileña a la UE

Esta es la primera vez que la carne porcina fue incluida en la agenda de trabajo de los expertos europeos durante su visita a Brasil, para la inspección de residuos de las carnes exportadas.

Una misión de técnicos de la Unión Europea llegará a Brasil a finales de febrero para la inspección de residuos en las carnes exportadas al bloque. De acuerdo, al presidente de la Asociación Brasileña de Productores y Exportadores de Carne, ABIPECS, Pedro de Camargo Neto, aunque es una visita de rutina, durante la cual se de evaluaran los laboratorios, sistemas de muestreo y compromiso con el Plan Nacional de Control Residuos y Contaminantes, PNCRC, ésta es la primera vez que la carne porcina fue incluida en la agenda que ha sido establecida por el plan de trabajo de los expertos europeos.

Brasil todavía no posee unidades habilitadas para exportar carne porcina al bloque económico europeo.

“Incluso si el mercado está abierto, sabemos que, asimismo como EUA no será un gran volumen, pero es un mercado con un sello de calidad para los productos brasileños”, dijo Camargo Neto.

El presidente de la ABIPECS dice que todavía se está trabajando para la apertura de los mercados asiáticos como Corea del Sur, Japón y China.
