Fitch Ratings otorga calificación de panorama estable a JBS

Las perspectivas financieras de la procesadora de carne son buenas después de la compra de Seara

JBS SA, la empresa brasileña de procesamiento de carne y pollo, recibió la calificación BB estable de Fitch Ratings. Después de la adquisición el pasado 10 de junio de la compañía brasileña de procesamiento de cerdo y pollo Seara Brasil, Fitch Ratings colocó a JBS en observación y luego la confirmó como de panorama estable.

“La calificaciones de crédito de JBS están sustentadas por un fuerte perfil comercial. La compañía es el productor de carne de res y pieles curtidas más grande del mundo. Con la adquisición de Seara Brasil, JBS se convirtió el el segundo productor de carnes procesadas de Brasil. La diversificación geográfica y de productos de la compañía ayuda a mitigar los riesgos relacionados con restricciones comerciales y por enfermedades”, dijo Johnny da Silva, director de Fitch Ratings.
