En estos momentos en el principal puerto venezolano se encuentra un embarque con 400 toneladas de pollo y carne en descomposición.

De acuerdo a informaciones de trabajadores del Puerto de Cabello en Venezuela, habrían 16 contenedores refrigerados con pollos y carne en descomposición en las instalaciones portuarias de este puerto.

Según la información entregada todavía no se define a donde serán enviados estos contenedores con las 400 toneladas de carne descompuesta para ser incinerada o enterrada, ya que al comienzo la carga se enviaría a la División de Almacenamiento para el Control de Químicos y Explosivos Región Central Diacoquerce en Puerto Cabello y después se pensó en el estado Trujillo. En definitiva, no se ha adoptado una decisión aún.

Entre tanto, los contenedores están conectados para que la carne descompuesta se mantenga refrigerada, evitando que emanen los olores a la población más cercana del puerto venezolano más importante.

Debido a que la información se ha divulgado entre la población, las autoridades han mantenido en reserva de cuál será el destino final de esta mercancía.
