La Federación Nacional de Avicultores de Colombia manifiesta que fue relegada del programa de financiamiento y crédito gubernamental.

El presidente de la Federación Nacional de Avicultores de Colombia, Fenavi, Sr. Jorge Bedoya, envió una carta al Ministro de Agricultura, lamentando la exclusión de la avicultura del programa Desarrollo Rural con Equidad que reemplazó al Agro, Ingreso Seguro.

El Sr. Bedoya considera que este es un error que debería rectificar el ministro, es decir, modificar los beneficiarios del programa crediticio.

“Adicionalmente y con gran preocupación, vemos que las actividades financiables se centran sólo en productos agrícolas, excluyendo no sólo la avicultura, sino también otras actividades pecuarias”, explico el Sr. Bedoya en el comunicado.

Además, esta notificación expresaba: “No obstante, en la presentación del DRE se hace referencia a bienes definidos como básicos para la seguridad alimentaria y a productos sensibles y de interés exportador en el Tratado de Libre Comercio”.
