Prohíbe México importaciones por influenza aviar de EUA

La prohibición solamente es de aves o productos avícolas provenientes de los estados afectados

Debido a los recientes brotes de influenza aviar notificable en EUA, México prohíbe la importación de cualquier tipo de aves o productos avícolas originarios y/o procedentes de los estados de California, Minnesota, Missouri y Arkansas.

Por otro lado, para el caso de aves o productos aviares provenientes de los estados de Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Oregón o Washington, deberán presentar resultados de un laboratorio oficial en el que se muestre que la mercancía proviene de parvadas o granjas de origen en las que se tomaron al menos 59 muestras serológicas que fueron probadas para influenza aviar, mediante la prueba de doble inmunodifusión en gel de agar (DIGA) de acuerdo a los lineamientos establecidos por la OIE, con resultados negativos a influenza aviar, así como una prueba negativa a aislamiento viral, o bien, a PCR.

En el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad, Inocuidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (Senasica) dice que van a estar pendientes a que la autoridad evolucione los criterios en el cierre de Arkansas (cierre solamente el condado afectado).
